Abstract
Recent decades have seen an increase in the number of Peregrine Falcons Falco peregrinus nesting on built structures in urban or semi-urban areas. The nests of many of these urban-nesting pairs can be observed using webcams that are installed in the nestboxes. Observations made during the 2020 breeding season, at a time when the UK was in lockdown due to Covid-19 restrictions, are presented here. They include observations of first-egg dates, clutch sizes, and hatching successes. The first-egg date for birds in this study is considerably earlier than in previous studies.
